The Special Editions just keep coming for the Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited, with the new Chief perhaps the most special of all. With Wrangler’s iconic off-road toughness but styling more suited for a day at the beach, the Wrangler Chief is sure to turn heads. Check in with the pros at Chapman Jeep to see about getting your hands on Jeep’s latest offering.

Ready to Tackle Sand or Trail

The new Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited Chief is set up to handle whatever nature might throw at it, from the dunes near Yuma to the rocky trails at Four Peaks. With 32-inch performance Goodyear Tires wrapped around some 17-inch five-spoke wheels, the Chief has plenty of grip for all surfaces. A Dana 30 axle in the front combines with a Dana 44 in the rear to deliver power and traction as needed to all four wheels. Standard two hooks in the front and rear make a convenient place for a tow strap if you need to help friends out of a sticky situation.

Unique Design Offers Cool Summer Style

Although the new Chief is unmistakably a Jeep Wrangler, it does have a style all its own. Little touches like gloss white beltline accents, a body color grille with metal accents and cool CHIEF chrome badges on the fenders all add to the uniqueness of this special vehicle. You can stay with the standard White Freedom hardtop, or chose an optional dual top that includes a Sunrider soft top to let the breeze and ocean spray offer some personal cooling. The power dome vented hood will take care of keeping the engine at optimal operating temperatures.

Stay Comfortable in Premium Interior

From the awesome nine-speaker Alpine stereo system that comes with an all-weather subwoofer to the heated black leather-trimmed seats, the Jeep Wrangler Chief provides comfort on the inside no matter what is going on outside the vehicle. When the going gets rough and your passenger gets nervous, just tell him or her to grab the CHIEF. That’s the monogrammed grab handle that helps calm a passenger down on the rockiest of trails. The leather wrapped steering wheel continues the theme with silver accents, as do the front door arm rests and center console lid.

Plenty of Power and Torque

The Chief may be a Special Edition, but it is still a Wrangler, so you can count on plenty of power and torque to get you into – and out of – harrowing situations. The 3.6L Pentastar engine delivers a whopping 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, more than enough to get up steep inclines from a complete stop. The best way to learn more about the Chief is to drive one for yourself. Check in with Chapman Jeep to see when the first Chief will arrive on the showroom floor.
