For those looking for a reliable SUV, the 2014 Dodge Durango is for you. The SUV won the 2014 Consumer Guide Automotive Best Buy award for large SUVs.

The redesigned Durango was made a little bigger in order to put it into the large SUV class. However, some things remain the same. It still offers the power to tow with a HEMI V8 engine and eight-speed automatic transmission.

Interior upgrades include a new customizable TFT gauge cluster, high-def Blu-ray dual-screen entertainment system, and a new available 8.4-inch Uconnect  Touchscreen navigation system.

The Dodge Durango fits up to seven people and features more than 50 different seating configurations, making it a great choice for families looking for seating and cargo space options.

In addition to seating, consumers can have their choice of engines as well. The Durango comes standard with a 3.6L V6 Pentastar engine, capable of up to 295hp in Rallye mode, and getting up to 24mpg on the highway. The beefier V8 is a 5.7L HEMI capable of 360hp and up to 23mpg on the highway with the V8 RWD option.

The 2014 Dodge Durango starts at $29,795 for the SXT  and $40,995 for the luxury Citadel model, which includes in its base price the rear-wheel drive, a 3.6L Pentastar V6 and an 8-speed transmission.

Considering the features that come standard and its size, the Dodge Durango is a great buy, especially families. To check out the 2014 Dodge Durango, visit Chapman Dodge.
